I haven't been posting news here regularly, unlike Discord and other places.
* Version 0.91 - a large number of bug fixes and polish. Extended adjoin limits were introduced, which greatly reduce HOM artifacts in custom levels when enabled. * Version 0.92 - theforceengine.github.io/blog.html - the GPU Renderer Beta was released, finally making it useable for playing the game. * Version 0.93 - adding support for quicksaves, and saving and loading similar to other FPS games. The functionality is complete and I expect to see this version released in the next few days.
When version 0.93 is released, The Force Engine will be feature-complete for version 1.0. Once released, my focus will be on bugs and polishing for the version 1.0 release. Fixing the remaining GPU Renderer bugs, another fix-up pass on the AI - especially bosses, dealing with a few remaining INF bugs, and then general bugs and crashes.
