I am playing the german version of dark forces. In mission 5 - gromas mines, after you planted the explosive and defeated the first phase one dark trooper, there is a line spoken in english by kyle instead of german. I guess this bug exist in any other localized version as well. I dont know yet, if there are other moments later in the game with wrong localized samples after fulfilling missionobjectives. Maybe some other users can tell you more about this bug.
I am using TheForceEngine-v1-RC-3. I think the specs of my PC are irrelevant in this case.  |

Hi Yes this is. youtu.be/F6ghcuaTRuk?list=PLwM0sLhgMEruenjByu9TyqqmZsZy3XXEh&t=1158it may possible to fix this , with Extract the Sounds.Gob File , and may find the right German Voice File ,when Aviable. Jedisfx.lfd contains all Voice/Sounds for the Cutscenes !
Or is it a consequence because the game was on the index til October 2020 !!! For Extract Dark Forces Gob Files
But all in one , this is more an Vanilla Game issue , and not reletated by TFE or a Bug !
Update : Extracted , German Voice for this isn't Aviable , there are was more in English , but some may Unused stuff !

Its very likely an issue with the vanilla game. But i can not remember. I have payed the game back then in 1995 on release-day (before the indexing by the BPjM). Such a mix of languages would have annoyed me, because my english was not existing in 1995. I was 15 in 1995 (F*ck i am old). Probably that is why my memories are a little fuzzy. |

Marco i can't Remember this too , but i did't played with Headphones 1995 that i could hear all Sounds Perfectly ^^ on my AMD Am486 DX-2 80Mhz , i was 14 there  , i can't realy belvieve that i had played Dark Forces with a Joystick Yes it this was realy so , i had Listen all Voc Files ! Sorry for jumping in, but while I was looking for german version of the game, I found official patch for it, which supposedly replaces two english spoken lines with german ones: archive.org/details/df-update-de (linked from there www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Dark_Forces. Based on the name of the two VOC files: M05KYL02.VOC M05JAN01.VOC, Don't try to install it over English version, because you'll have half of the game in german (briefings, in game exit menu). Don't ask me how I know... |

spacekomet uff , very good Man i know the Site , im looking there almost for Ultrawide Patches or another Bugfixes , realy don't know why i had not looking there or i had forgot it ! Very Importment is , 16Bit/Dos .Exe Files can't be run under Windows 64Bit , this needs Extract the _DFUP.EXE with 7Zip/Winrar or Total Commander , Extract this just in the Dark Forces Main Folder.
