Apologies for the delay with this one.
In TFE 1.01, when enemies fall from a great height, they die some time before hitting the floor. They also move horizontally in mid air as they are falling.
In vanilla, they fell straight down vertically and only died upon impact.
I've attached level files which demonstrate this. Just LANTFH to the small square-shaped sectors, the enemies are suspended in mid-air and will fall when awakened.
BTW, the room where you start demonstrates the 3DO texture scrolling bug that Secbase Unlimited reported. I wanted to see it for myself :-)
