Not only would I love to see texture filtering but the ability to upscale the textures (like 6xBRZ) to increase some detail and not leave the textures too blurry. Of course these should be optional so some can use filtered textures, while the purists can keep the filtering disabled. I also would love to see it in 32bit color as I find in the darker areas it's clearly still running in 256 (8bit) colors.
Version 1.11 will feature the true-color renderer, which will support texture filtering (and 32-bit color of course). I am not planning on implementing upscaling filters at this time, but a "sharp bilinear" option will be available to adjust the sharpness of the bilinear filtering - ranging from normal bilinear to something that looks like bicubic in the center, to anti-aliased point sampling at the extreme.
