CORRECTION: this functionality is in the original game but seems like an oversight. Maybe get this fixed for the Modern version?

If you turn on invincibility ( LAIMLAME ) - pick up a invincibility powerup ( SUPERSHIELD ) - when it runs out your invincibility cheat is DISABLED as well .

This will not be changed for version 1.0. However, there may be a gameplay option for this in the future. I'm going to consider this as a future "feature request" since it is to optionally changing the original behavior in a way that can break mods.
