The latest "Dark Forces Community Patch" has many changes compared to the original.
Will that be considered by you for future releases of The Force Engine?

What will be considered? Those are just mainly edited maps and updated 3DO models. You can load this "patch" as a mod in TFE, as all files are in GOB file.
So there's no conflict of interest.

To be clear, there are no plans to make the community patch part of the TFE release. You can use the patch with TFE, just like you play any other mod - as Dzierzan says above.
