Is it possible to translate the sentence
You found a secret!
into
Du hast ein Geheimnis entdeckt!
when TFE runs with the German Version of DARK FORCES?
Thank you for bringing one of my favorite 90s DOS games back to modern PCs! 
EDIT of my 1st post:
I exchanged the german word gefunden with entdeckt. Now the sentence rolls better off the tongue and it sounds a little more enthusiastic.

Hi Thats Easy , go in UI_Text/TfeMessages.txt You can there edit it  ex. for the Secret Message !
"You found a secret!" // TFE_MSG_SECRET to "Du hast ein Geheimnis entdeckt!" // TFE_MSG_SECRET Have fun Cheers ! |

Yeah, this does bring up a point about setting up the UI Text to be translatable. This task is, obviously, larger than the new TFE messages themselves and should be done at some point. That said, your current solution will work fine - though it does have the issue that the file will be overridden when you update, which will be annoying.
