Hello. I have several questions that I don't know where best to ask. 1. Are the Roland SC-55 or AWE64 featured in The Force Engine comparable in sound quality to the General MIDI at Port 330 or Roland at Port 330 from this guide or the Gravis UltraSound from this? 2. In addition to English subtitles, the modification already includes German ones, so perhaps Russian ones could also be included. 3. Is it possible to include the missing cutscene from this guide ( or Community Patch) in the mod? 4. And also a question, which user companies would you classify as the best? In this thread I learned that TFE supports The Bounty Hunt and Omega Red. I also found The Dark Tide. But I don't know where the latest versions of the maps are presented, since, for example, BHSE is different on this and this site. 5. It turns out that there are already 2 mods for this new engine: Smooth and Voxel Pack, which will be compatible with it in the future? They are in General Discussion and can be accidentally missed. Is there a list of such modifications? And also continue the discussion here.

1. Yes they are both comparable. 2. Yes they can be included. You can create them by yourselfe. Its just a *.txt file in the TheForceEngine\Captions folder. Create a copy of the subtitles.txt. Rename it to subtitles-ru.txt (or what ever you like), translate and edit the subtitles in the file. Copy this file back into the Captions folder. Now you can select it in the accessibility options in TFE. 3. Yes you can restore the cutscene. I´ve tried it, It works. 4. Can´t tell anything about this. I dont know. lucius has to answer this. 5. As far as I can tell, support for Voxel Pack is planned but not implemented yet.

Voxel support will be implemented. 2024 should be finally the year of that. When it comes to smooth weapon animations, it strongly depends on how moddable it will be. I don't like scripting and it's the reason why I never made it for Duke Nukem 3D, here's the link to the topic forums.duke4.net/topic/11085-smoothduke-weapons/
